Mountain Mania – more than just a sticker album

In the Mountain Mania sticker album GARFIELD guides us around the mountains of Europe, Asia, Oceania, America and Africa. Hungarian photographers’ pictures were used to illustrate Hungary’s mountains and their wildlife. The campaign was implemented between 3 April and 28 May 2014, also relying on images and information – via the website www.sparexpedicio.hu – from Hungarian climber Dávid Klein’s Everest expedition, which took place at the same time. SPAR customers purchased 300,000 sticker albums, nearly 24 million green sticker packs were given away for each HUF 2,000 spent and almost 2 million blue packs were sold for HUF 99. Until 30 September 2014 the SPAR Everest Expedition appeared 1,592 times in the media.
