Homemade pork on the shelves of Auchan
From 5 December, the Auchan offers homemade pork as a novelty in each of its 19 domestic stores. The program involving 40 breeders is designed to breed high quality pigs by complying with the food safety standards.
The route of the meat is completely tracked down, from the farmers know the customer. The customer knows where the pork came from. In the future the company plans to expand the program further with the involvement of additional farmers. At the program launch event held in at the Auchan store in Dunakeszi Dr. Fazekas Sándor, Minister of Agriculture and several breeders participated as well.
