SPAR’s non-food products are delivered to your home
You can no longer only buy food in the SPAR Online shop, but thanks to a HUF 150 million investment, you can now conveniently order technical items, toys, garden and leisure tools, kitchen appliances and electronic products to your home.
The non-food product service of the SPAR Online shop started with nearly five hundred new items, and the range is constantly expanding. The purpose of the shop is to provide convenient home delivery of high-quality and reasonably priced technical goods, including toys, garden and leisure equipment, kitchen appliances and electronic devices, provided by INTERSPAR stores. In the case of these categories – in contrast to food – there is no option for so-called Drive-In pick-up at designated points at the stores, but fast delivery is ensured by GLS and Trans-Pack as partners of SPAR to a high standard. The investment works with three new employees in order to ensure that the online shop provides the best possible technical service to the customers of the domestic department store chain. The products are now available in the expanded range of the SPAR Online shop and can be ordered throughout Hungary. The company provides a 30-day return guarantee, and a 3-year guarantee for its own brand Simpex products.
Three years ago, as a result of an investment of nearly HUF one billion, SPAR Hungary’s increasingly popular home delivery service was born, which is now available in 180 settlements, while the Drive-in solution can be used in 28 stores. During the summer season, the popular internet service also periodically reaches vacationers in the busiest tourist areas.
SPAR is constantly working to serve customers quickly and efficiently. It is gratifying that the number of Drive-In points continued to expand in September, so that the SPAR Online shop is now also available in Dunaújváros and Szekszárd, which now has 150,000 users and whose performance has achieved intensive growth in the last three years.
