refPET enters Hungary
Oonly Clean Water Kft. has opened an innovative HUF 1.5bn bottling plant in Pannonhalma, where Hungary’s first refPET mineral water bottles rolled off the production line in mid-January.

After customers return them, Oonly’s bottles are taken to the factory and cleaned at high temperatures, sterilised, refilled with mineral water, and the cycle starts all over again. On average, the bottles can be refilled 25 times before being recycled, and new refPET bottles are made from the raw material. //
