Hay Group: One-fifth of the companies will freeze the wages this year
One-fifth of the companies will freeze the wages in 2013, the other companies are waiting, but those who plan wage increase would increase salaries lesser extend than inflation – shows Hay Group Hungary consulting firm’s latset study, involving 500 Hungarian companies, mainly large companies.
The company in its Friday's communication highlights that this year the corporations calculate with an only 3.2 percent wage increase, compare to this year’s expected inflation rate of 3.5 percent. Last year, the average inflation rate was 5.7 percent, while wages increased by 3.3 percent, so gross real wages declined by 2.2 percent. (MTI)
