This year’s sour cherry yield will be weaker than the average, about 60-65 thousand tons – the FruitVeB and ÉKASZ told MTI on Tuesday.
According to the most recent summary of the Hungarian Vegetable Fruit Interprofessional Organization and Product Council (FruitVeB) and the Association of Apple and Other Fruit Associations and Products Councils of North-East Hungary (ÉKASZ), this year’s sour cherry yield is expected to be slightly below the average level, with a loss of 30 percent.
