New labor rules can adversely affect the work on Sunday
The possible interpretation of the new Labour Code can adversely affect several businesses operating on Sunday, especially in the malls. The shifted work schedule will be replaced by multi-shift work. An expert, told to Világgazdaság that it is questionable at the commercial units, for example, stock-taking in a warehouse is considered to be a multi-shift work.
He added that the idea is important because the law states that it is only shifted work schedule, if the employer's weekly operation eceeds 80 hours. If does not reach, then in Sunday work cannot be considered as normal working-time work, so the workers can only be called in for extraordinary work and, due to the rule of working on a restday a 100 percent allowance should be paid to the employee – reports tozsdeforum.hu, after Világgazdaság.
