The Hungarian economy caused a big surprise
On the basis of the flash estimation of the Central Statistical Office and Ecostat; in the first three months of this year, the Hungarian economy's performance rose by 0.1 percent, compared to the same period of 2009. A 2 percent decline was expected.
Hungary's gross domestic product increased by 0.1 percent, by eliminating the calendar effect increased by 0.2 percent during the first three months of 2010, compared to the same period of last year. Adjusted seasonally and by eliminating the calendar effect, Hungary's gross domestic product increased by 0.9 percent, compared to the previous quarter – reports mfor.hu.
