A large decrease in traffic at the restaurants of Lake Balaton
The operators of the restaurants reported a 15-20 percent traffic decrease compared to the previous year, but there were operators who reported third less guest, than last year.
On the evenings most of the restaurants of Balatonföldvár, Füred, Tihany, Keszthely are vacant,almost deserted, with waiters standing in front of the reastaurant looking for guests.
The VAT increase further increased the costs and in the current situation no one can pass the costs onto the customers. A lawyer in real estate marketing reported that just in the last week of July, eight reastaurant owner tried to sell their restaurant – reports Napi Gazdaság.
