The horticultural sector’s output was 300 hundred billion HUF last year
The horticultural sector is the dominant area of Hungarian agriculture. The role of vegetable production is the most important within the sector – the Minister of Agriculture said on Thursday in Szegvár.
Nagy István in the village in Csongrád County said at the handover ceremony of a seedlings growing greenhouse of the Árpád-Agrár Zrt. that the horticultural sector’s output was more than 300 billion HUF last year – out of which nearly 180 billion HUF was the production of fresh vegetables – represented 12 percent of the Hungarian agricultural product.
