Three hundred and thirty billion HUF for social responsibility
According to GKI's survey made with involvement of 1500 Hungarian companies, an increasing number of domestic companies, spend on social responsibility (CSR), The companies over 20 capita around 330 million HUF a year.
CSR activities of the companies differ greatly from each other. The largest part of the 330 billion HUF spent on social responsibility is by heavy industrial enterprises (47.4 percent), followed by trade and vehicle repair firms (24.7 percent).
In Hungary, in the past years the three-quarters of CSR spendings have spent on internal CSR purposes, mostly on benefits provided to employees, which they expect impact on the company's performance. The most important CSR goals are: improving the positive corporate image, the health of the employees, Eco-friendliness solutions, equality within the company and staff welfare benefits – reports Piac & Profit.
