The donut festival in Nagykanizsa to be expanded to three days and Zalakaros will also host programs as a new venue for the Nagykanizsa National Carnival Donut Festival, which attracts thousands of visitors each year and set a new Guinness Record.
The main organizer of the twelfth donut festival, starting on 20 February, is the VOKE Kodály Zoltán Culture House in Nagykanizsa.
On the first day, Száraz Csilla, director of the Thúry György Museum in Nagykanizsa, said that a photo competition on carnival experiences, which would also expand the museum’s collection, was announced as well. (MTI)
