This year, the donut festival in Nagykanizsa will take place online, but with the possibility to buy
In line with the coronavirus pandemic, the 13th Carnival Donut Festival programs will be held online. The donut baking competition will be held and those interested will be able to buy – the organizers said at the event’s press conference on Tuesday.
Balogh László, the mayor of Nagykanizsa, said: it is very important that there are events in the “winter of our discontent” that move people, so maybe a way can be found to make an online festival work. This year, too, the donut festival will be held on 12 and 13 February, serving charitable purposes, but in full compliance with pandemiological rules. (MTI)
