Investor sentiment in the eurozone at three-year high
The eurozone investor sentiment index of the Frankfurt-based economic research institute Sentix GmbH rose to a three-year high in June, according to a report published on Monday.
In June, the stock market investor sentiment index rose more than expected, by 7.1 points to 28.1 points, the highest since February 2018, according to the survey.
The index stood at 21.0 points in May and analysts had expected 25-26 points for June. The components of the index differed in the survey. While the perception of the current situation has improved considerably, the outlook has already been judged somewhat less favourably than the financial professionals surveyed in the previous month.
