Two out of three Hungarian entrepreneurs do not have access to resources or help
Visa (NYSE: V) is once again launching its international She’s Next program in Hungary to support the development of small and medium-sized businesses run by women. After the successful completion of the previous year’s program, female entrepreneurs can apply again for the five subsidies of two million forints each. The winners also receive one year of business development mentoring to help them grow. Applicants can submit applications using an easy-to-fill form until April 30.
What do an artisan producer of hot peppers, a unique furniture designer, the owner of an English language school for children, a developer of a mobile application for expectant mothers and an entrepreneur who uses recycled office paper to make giftable seed bonbons have in common? Two things are certain: they are all women, and all five were winners of the Visa She’s Next tender program, which was announced for the first time last year, with the help of which they were able to take their business to the next level. The success of last year’s program and the market situation of female entrepreneurs in Hungary both created a demand for its continuation.
