Magazine: One from three!
Soon the Guild of Hungarian Restaurateurs (MVI) will settle the matter of MVI’s foundations – but not by uniting them in a single foundation as originally planned, because it would be costly and legally complicated. The foundation called Hungarian Catering in Europe will be closed. The Aid to Restaurateurs Foundation will also be terminated, and its HUF 1,300,000 funds will be taken over either to the Foundation for the Tertiary Education of Catering or to MVI.
At the moment the Foundation for the Tertiary Education of Catering has HUF 300,000 at its disposal. MVI has already initiated legal proceedings to restore the lawful operations of this foundation, because MVI’s lawyers have found that it hasn’t been fulfilling its objectives and performing the activities laid down in the deed of foundation for years. There is a new deed of foundation now and new officials have been named. //
