Inflation in Germany hit a three-and-a-half-year low in May
In May, three and a half years ago, the lowest inflation occurred in Germany, according to a report released on Tuesday by the federal statistical office Destatis.
According to the final data from Destatis, inflation in Germany was the same as in the preliminary calculation in May. Consumer prices rose 0.6 percent from a year earlier, the lowest level in three and a half years since September 2016. In the previous month, April, the rate of annual rise in consumer prices was 0.9 percent. (MTI)
