More than thirty varieties of honey at the Gyula Honey and Gingerbread Festival
More than thirty varieties of honey can be tasted at the 12th Honey and Gingerbread Festival, which takes place from 6 to 8 December in Gyula, Békés county.
Haász Ferenc, president of the Benedek Beekeepers’ Association of Göndöcs, Békés County, one of the main organizers of the event, told MTI that the main goal of the event from the very beginning, when the festival was organized in a small private house, was the same as today: the promotion of honey.
