The Brewery in Martfű is thirty Years old
The government supports companies as Heineken that create jobs, develop and create investments – Budai Gyula, Ministerial Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations said on Monday in Martfű, where the Heineken Hungária Sörgyárak Zrt. celebrated its thirty-year anniversary.
Budai Gyula noted that the Group ensures approximately twenty percent of Martfű’s revenues.
Pálffy Dezső golden graduate agricultural engineer, the founder of the Első Szövetkezeti Sörgyár (First Cooperative Brewery), recalled that 28 eastern Hungarian producer cooperatives and state farms founded the brewery, due to deficiencies on the beer market. The brewery started its production in 1985 and has about 70 employees at the factory – he added. (MTI)
