The Animal Breeding and Farming Days are organized for the thirtieth time
The Great Plains Animal Husbandry and Farming Days, one of the most important professional meetings of Hungarian agriculture, will be held in Hódmezővásárhely from Thursday, the organizer Hód-Mezőgazda Zrt. informed MTI.
The eight sectors of animal husbandry, horse, cattle, pig, sheep, goat, poultry, ornamental poultry and rabbit breeders, fishing, hunting, as well as the most prominent of the animal husbandry and related crop production industries, will be on display at the exhibition. representatives are introduced. One of the most important and spectacular elements of the exhibition, which has been organized since 1994 with the Association of Hungarian Animal Breeders and its member organizations, is the public breeding animal judging and breed presentations, where professionals and the public can see the best of the current Hungarian herd.
Among the hundreds of exhibitors at the three-day fair are companies that manufacture and distribute animal husbandry, husbandry technology, agroinformatics, reproductive biology, animal health and pharmaceutical, animal feed and food industry products, tools and equipment.
Scientific and professional training events are connected to the event every year
This year, a conference on animal health challenges in farm animal husbandry will be held with a speaker from the University of Veterinary Medicine. The supply of specialists is supported by agricultural vocational training institutions III. Also the National Farmers’ Competition, which is held on Fridays as part of the Farmers’ Days. A new feature of this year’s exhibition is the learning trail program of Hód-Mezőgazda Zrt. and its consortium partners, where, after registration, recognized and experienced professionals will present the farmers with the innovations related to the cultivation of fodder crops and the production of quality fodder.
