Danone increased its after tax profit by one-third

Taking the currency effects into account, sales revenue declined by 2.1 percent, from 22.41 billion euros to 21.94 billion euros. The decline in revenue was mainly due to the significant weakening of the Argentinean and the Mexican peso and the Russian ruble. The company, however, significantly improved its efficiency; The profit after tax increased by 34 percent to 1.1 billion euros, and the free cash flow purified from the one-off effect increased by 17 percent to 1.8 billion euros.
