Magazin: Happy birthday every day!
Confectioners complain about the recession and one would think they would rush to fill every market niche; still there are not many places where one could order a birthday cake that is different from the usual ones. Muki Cuki in the 6th district of Budapest is one of these places. Owner György Frank, who employs five skillful confectioners, started making special birthday cakes 20 years ago: – Back then everybody ordered cars and Barbie dolls. These days our customers are braver and more creative. On our website customers can find samples from which they can choose the right cake, but the most special ones are presented in the shop. We even make faces after photos, but we also do objects or toy figures.
