Neglect is the reason behind more than half of the hacks in corporate networks
The number and cost of threats from within the company is constantly increasing. According to a survey by the U.S. Ponemon Institute, nearly two-thirds of companies are forced to deal with more than 40 security incidents a year, at an average cost of nearly half a million dollars. It can be particularly threatening to organizations that a significant portion of this is caused by the negligence of employees or partners. Purchasing the right protective equipment is just one step away, and there is plenty to replace in terms of operation and regular employee training, says a Maxvalor expert.
