Nébih struck on counterfeit food
During the inspection of a shop in the capital, which also sold food, a number of foodstuffs with an illegally extended shelf life, which were therefore considered counterfeit, were withdrawn from the market by experts of the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih).
During an on-site inspection at a discount store in Budapest, the experts found that some food products sold there had been over-labeled and that the expired original shelf life had been illegally extended on the affixed label. The counterfeit food – which was largely sweets – was found by inspectors in the store’s sales area. (portal.nebih.gov.hu)
