A tamper-proof product identifier was developed in Miskolc
The Secure Mark (SMark) project of the Miskolc-based Vasbeta Kft. can gain world fame. To develop the tamper-proof product identification system, the company spent more than one billion HUF – was said at a news conference in Miskolc on Thursday.

Barta György, managing director of the company, said that the Smart makes all products tamper-proof of which the just one square millimeter security label is attached.
With the help of the special label, any product can be identified – he added, and noted that the global market value of counterfeit goods is estimated at 600 billion USD. The company won 635 million HUF at an EU tender. (MTI)
