Fake perfumes and pálinkas without tax stamps were found in a Romanian bus
Hundreds of boxes of fake branded perfumes and twenty-five liters of unverified pálinkas without tax stamps were seized by the finance officers on the M7 motorway. The value of the products is about 900 thousand HUF – the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) told MTI on Friday.
The finance guards checked a Romanian bus carrying 55 Romanian passengers. from the suitcases of the passengers a total of 808 boxes of various perfumes were found. The origin of the perfumes could not be credibly verified by the owners.
The finance officers also seized 25 liters of unknown origin pálinkas without tax stamps from a suitcase. The owner has been imposed with an excise duty fine. (MTI)
