Hamburger World Day: America's sweetheart on conquest
Set sail from Germany, reached the peak of its popularity in the U.S.A., in addition it conquers in Hungary, and has its own world day: THE HAMBURGER.
Many of us would believe that the home of Hamburger is America, but it has started its world conquering tour actually from Hamburg, Germany's busiest port city. In the 19th century it came to North America with the great wave of emigration. Originally it was called Hamburg Steak. Dishes like Hamburg Steak were already existing at the time of the Roman Empire, and now it has become so popular that it has its own world day.
