The 31st Budapest Wine Festival will open soon – with the support of SPAR
In 30 years, it has become almost natural for many of us to say goodbye to the summer in a dignified way, in the framework of an unforgettable party. There is no better occasion for this than the Budapest Wine Festival, which is held amidst lavish scenery, and this year awaits the wine-loving public with numerous novelties, a dazzling selection and a huge area.
The reconstruction of the Budavári Palace courtyards has reached a new stage, so guests can once again take possession of the original area of the Wine Festival, together with the renewed Halászó children’s courtyard, the Savoy terrace and the rebuilt ramp leading to the Csikós courtyard. In the old and reborn areas, the programs, wine and gastronomic offer promise to be particularly exclusive. Never before have so many international brands appeared as this year. Almost the entire range of domestically distributed champagnes will be available for tasting, crémants, cavas and the noble competition of domestic champagne brands will all seek the favor of visitors. As we have become accustomed to, all the wine regions of our country are represented by more than 100 exhibiting winemakers and wine merchants. An old dream will come true, as we can welcome the United States of America as the guest of honor: fantastic wines from California, Washington state and Oregon, with which we can also taste classic American dishes.
