The renewal of the food industry begins soon

The support scheme, which provides investment opportunity mainly to domestic companies for the renewal of the food industry begins soon – the Vice President of the National Assembly, President of the Hungarian Farmers' Societies and Co-operatives Association said on Friday in Székesfehérvár.

Jakab István at the the professional event held to promote Hungarian healthy food – from local farmers to fork, pointed out that in Hungary the food processing industry is almost entirely foreign owned, so “the fate of various sectors is decided by a few multinational companies.” (MTI)
