The heat causes fish mortality and agricultural damages in Austria
The Austrian Die Presse daily reported about heat-related agricultural damages and fish mortality in Austrian rivers on Wednesday.
Because of the high temperatures and low oxygen content, fish mortality is high in several Lower Austrian lakes, specific numbers, however, has not been notified. However, the online edition of the Austrian Heute newspaper reports about thousands of dead small and large (more than one meter long) fish. (MTI)
