Fish on the Christmas table: this is how department store chains are preparing for the holidays
As Christmas approaches, fish dishes are an essential part of the festive table of Hungarian families. As Pénzcentrum wrote, approximately 40% of domestic fish consumption is realized during the festive period, but for some producers this ratio can reach up to 70%. This increase in demand is of course also clearly visible in the special offers of supermarket chains: they await customers with numerous discount offers during the Christmas season.

During the festive period, larger store chains are preparing a wide range of fish soup, carp and other fish products so that everyone can find the most suitable product for them – whether they are looking for ready-made meals or ingredients. Let’s see which stores are offering what discounts!
