“Net instead of fish” – a new element is added to the Élelmiszerlavina program
The Élelmiszerlavina (Food Avalanche) program, the joint initiative of Syngenta and the Hungarian Food Bank Association launched for the third time, this year, which was broadened with a municipal tender also.
The selected local governments and NGOs,will be given seed and pesticide protectors to cultivate their own territory. Also Food Bank transports long-term food forward to those in need.
"In 2009, in the scope of the Adománylavina program we distributed 94 tons of food to 10,000 families and we hope that this year's campaign will be equally successful” – said Cseh Balázs the president of the Hungarian Food Bank Association.
