If a brand does not stand up for a good cause, the brand is not worth standing up for either – this was also the theme of the Superbrands 2023 Hungarian awards gala
In 2023, one of Hungary’s most important business awarding events, the Superbrands gala, was organized with the participation of a large number of nearly 100 award-winning brands. In addition to the evaluation of outstanding brands, the mission of the Superbrands Hungary Program is to draw attention to current issues at the social level, together with the award-winning brands. This year, the focus was on the importance of responsibility.
By striving for a zero waste lifestyle, buying fewer packaged products, selective waste collection, composting, and recycling, more and more people are striving for an environmentally friendly lifestyle. And if consumers are increasingly demanding of themselves in the pursuit of sustainability, they expect no less from brands.
“As the Hungarian organizer of the Superbrands gala show, we see it as our task to highlight important and current issues on a social level in addition to evaluating and honoring outstanding brands in addition to festive moments. Keeping global trends in mind, the focus this year was on environmental responsibility and green CSR, and it is a great pleasure to see how much the Superbrands awardees feel responsible for their environment and how much effort they make to reduce the emission of harmful substances or eliminate the use of such substances in their businesses and activities. . There is still a lot to be done in this area, but the goal of brands striving for excellence is to do work that is beneficial to society and their natural environment as well.”
– said program director Géza László.
