The growth of retail sales has accelerated in the Czech Republic
In June, retail sales growth accelerated to 6.4 percent in the Czech Republic on an annual basis, while the growth was 1.1 percent in May – the Czech Statistical Office (CSÚ) announced on Tuesday.
The seasonally and working day adjusted monthly level of growth was 2.5 percent in June. The 6.4 percent annual data is also seasonally and calendar effect adjusted. Without these factors the increase was 8.2 percent. (Kokes János, MTI)
