The Romanian retail trade continued to expand
In the first two months of this year, the volume of retail sales in Romania increased by 8.2 percent, compared to the same period last year – the Romanian National Statistical Institute announced on Wednesday.
According to seasonally and calendar adjusted data, growth was 8 percent.
The increase in raw data is mainly due to non-food products, which were 11.4 percent higher than a year before. Sales of fuels increased by 9.4 percent, while sales of food, beverages, and tobacco increased by 4.5 percent. (MTI)
