K&H received an award for its fast, simple and effective innovations
For the third time this year, Visa awarded Hungarian banks in a total of ten categories. K&H Bank won the Digital Innovator UX 2024 award for digitally leading banks. The purpose of the Visa Awards is to draw attention to innovation, customer experience, product development and exemplary initiatives. K&H Bank’s innovations all serve the purpose of enabling customers to manage their finances as quickly and easily as possible, in an experiential manner.
Those banks that, with their innovative ideas, perform outstandingly in the field of customer experience and product development, and are at the forefront with their exemplary initiatives, will receive an award – it was announced at the award ceremony yesterday as a justification.
This year, Visa examined banks with a renewed methodology and, after a thorough analysis, awarded outstanding banks in the field of digital services. When awarding the prize, the user experience of payment and banking services was an important aspect. They evaluated banking mobile applications based on real user experiences and selected the winner of the 2024 Digital Innovator UX award based on their opinion.
The extremely extensive research prior to the awards included interviews with users and a survey involving 800 people. During the research, mobile banking applications were subjected to intensive testing by independent users, performing more than 100 different tasks, from opening new accounts to personalizing services. Experienced specialists guided the users and deepened their understanding of the logic, functions and user experience of mobile applications with additional questions. Based on the results obtained in this way, the most popular mobile application on the domestic market was selected, and the Digital Innovator UX award was awarded to K&H Bank for the first time. Balázs Németh, head of innovation at K&H Bank, received the award.
