The popularity of malls has decreased
Over the past decade, the turnover generated by the secondary school students in the malls decreased by 30 percent, so an increasing number of shopping centers forced to close – according to the survey of Quartz.
According to the American youth, it is not so cool to hang out in the malls, so shopping is no longer among the favorite pastimes. Instead, they sit in a restaurant, drink coffee, talk and spend quality time with their friends.
The survey shows that these young people are more often ordering online rather than shopping traditionally – the Nlcafé.hu wrote.
This trend has also reached Hungary. Based on surveys conducted in the last year, more and more new buyers have registered into web shops in their twenties.
