Weakening Hungarian exports, growth may slow down
Compared to the previous month, Hungarian exports have decreased significantly which can forecast a slowdown in GDP growth.
According to the preliminary datas of the Central Statistical Office (KSH); export in June increased by 3.1 percent, and import by 2.6 percent compared to the datas of June 2010. On an annual comparision, the growth continues, but compared to the May data, a significant decline occured: export decreased by 4 and import by 2.6 percent. In May, foreign trade surplus was 730 million euros, in June it was only 615 million euros – reports [origo].
