GVI: SME sector’s business confidence index decreased in the second quarter
According to the data of the Hungarian Trade and Industry Board (MKIK) and Economics and Business Research Institute (IEER) July survey, the business climate index in the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) sector, fell to 27 points from the 31 points peak of April – the research institute told MTI on Wednesday.
According to the information of MKIK GVI, the SME Perspective Business Climate Index decrease is due to the fact that all the sub indicators declined compared to the previous quarter. The companies expect that their investment activities will significantly fall back as well as the number of staff, capacity utilization, production levels and profitability.
