GVH: numerous complaints due to product demonstrations

The Hungarian Competition Authority (GVH) continues to receive numerous complaints due to product demonstrations, and therefore the GVH repeatedly warns consumers of the dangers of product demonstrations – the GVH told MTI on Friday.

The product demonstrations offers beneficiaries primary to pensioners or vulnerable consumers, who can be more easily influenced because of their state of health, age or financial difficulties. It is happening often as well that a financial institute offers loans for purchases based on misleading oral information – the communication states. (MTI)
