The international recognition of Hungarian wine needs to be increased, and this will be helped by the upcoming Hungarian Wine Marketing Strategy – explained the minister in charge of the Prime Minister’s Office at the opening of the 11th Wine Conference held in Budapest on Friday.
Gergely Gulyás emphasized that the inadequate foreign recognition does not depend on the work of Hungarian winemakers. It is no longer true that good wine does not need a company, modern marketing tools are also needed – he added.
That is why the Hungarian government decided to encourage the better-known and popularization of Hungarian wines internationally – he said, adding: the Hungarian wines of Tokaj, Somló, Szekszárd and others are competitive anywhere in the world, so the goal is to be on the top shelf everywhere. be avoided.
