Grocery retail hit the brakes
In February 2017 retail volume sales augmented by 1 percent from the base period; adjusted for calendar effects, the sales growth was 1.2 percent. Food and food-type retail sales increased by 0.2 percent and non-food sales grew by 3.1 percent, while motor fuel volume sales rose 2.1 percent.
