Geared up for grilling season: SPAR strengthens its fresh meat and convenience product offering

As the good weather arrives, barbecue enthusiasts also come out – and SPAR is prepared for the season this year as well, whether it’s meat, cheese, marinades or even the accessories needed for grilling. From the quality offering of the Regnum meat factory to the expanding range of grilled cheese and spices to non-alcoholic refreshments, you can find everything you need for a garden party.

“Barbecue today goes beyond baking – it has become a real community event that brings families and friends together. We have designed SPAR’s offering to meet the diverse needs of our customers. Whether it is classic grilled meats, meat-free alternatives, spices, sauces or even grill accessories, everyone can find the right products for them here,” said Márk Maczelka, Head of Communications at SPAR Hungary.

Quality on the grill – guaranteed by the Regnum meat plant

The majority of the grilled products made in SPAR’s own Regnum meat plants are made from Hungarian ingredients, under controlled conditions, and with modern technology. The pork comes from 100% domestic sources, while this year nearly 1 million kilograms of cured meat and 60 tons of steak are being prepared for the season. In addition to their excellent quality, Regnum grilled meats are also characterized by the fact that they are soy-, gluten- and lactose-free, so people with food sensitivities can choose them with confidence. Pre-seasoned, convenience products are becoming increasingly popular among customers, and they are available at SPAR meat counters all year round. These include Hungarian pork ribs, Caesar bacon, boneless pork knuckle and beer-battered pork ribs. During the grilling season, special grilled products are also available: grilled pork knuckle, grilled Transylvanian bacon with pritamine peppers, grilled Transylvanian bacon with jalapenos, and a sausage-filled version awaits grillers.
