Two Hungarian SMEs have earned the GREEN BRANDS certification
On 26 February GREEN BRANDS Hungary ceremonially presented the diplomas for using the GREEN BRANDS trademark to the award winners. The winners were: enerBIO and alterra by Rossmann, cleaning supplies brand Frosch, industrial cleaners brand green care PROFESSIONAL, plus two Hungarian SMEs Folprint Zöldnyomda Kft. and INEST Nonprofit Kft. The independent international certification scheme GREEN BRANDS evaluates the sustainability performance of brands, using a system of criteria developed by the Vienna-based Sustainable Europe Research Institute. The evaluation is done in partnership with ALLPLAN, an environmental consulting firm based in Vienna. After its launch in Germany and Austria in 2011, the programme entered Hungary last summer.
