GOSZ: the wheat harvest will be completed in time

The harvest of the autumn wheat will be completed in time for the beginning of August – the President of the National Association of Grain Producers (GOSZ) told on Thursday to MTI.

He added that 95 percent of the winter wheat cultivated area has been cut off. The average yield per hectare is 4.5 tonnes to 0.1 tonne less than previously expected. However, the president of GOSZ indicated that the yield of autumn wheat will be still around 5 million tonnes. (MTI)
