Gömböc in Shanghai
The Hungarian pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo must be ready until 15th March, trial will start on 1st of April. The star of the Hungarian stand will be a monumental Gömböc (Fatty).
Dr. Huszty András the High Commissioner for the Hungarian section of the World Fair, said that in 2006 the government decided to expend 3.29 billion HUF to the World Fair, but according to the present calculation a 300 million HUF savings can be expected. However, the rental fee is around 100 million HUF, instead of the former 70 million HUF, due to the exchange rate changes of the forint – reports Origo.
