GMO-free products are a competitive advantage for Hungary
It is a competitive advantage for Hungary to produce GMO-free products that can be sold at a higher price on the world market Gyuricza Csaba, Director-General of the National Agricultural Research and Innovation Center (NAIK) told M1 news channel.
He reminded that Hungary, the only country in the world, declared the GMO exemption in the Basic Law, while the Ministry of Agriculture did a lot to extend the way of thinking to other countries in the European Union.
According to the Director-General, agricultural research must strengthen the competitiveness of the Hungarian agriculture by providing GMO exemption. (MTI)
