The French law banning food waste would have a global effect
The French law on banning food waste that was accepted last week would raise the law to a global level.
The started of the initative Arash Derambarsh, municipal councilor of Paris started to fight against the throwing out of edible foods in a suburb of Paris.
The law will also introduce an education programme about food waste in schools and businesses. It follows a measure in February to remove the best-before dates on fresh foods – Guardian’s website wrote. (MTI)
