These enterprises often operate with many trucks and serve traditional or ethnic food, sometimes cakes and other sweets.
To start a business like this requires less investment and is cheaper to maintain. Experts say foodtrucks are really influential in what city dwellers think about eating and consumer communication. Foodtrucks offer high quality food and 60 percent of adults in the USA would like their favourite restaurants to operate a foodtruck too. These moving buffets sometimes serve advertising purposes as well: last autumn Air France promoted their luxury service in New York by giving away 3,000 portions of fine dining food served on their flights for free from a foodtruck. Foodtrucks use Facebook and Twitter really well to communicate with customers, but there are also specialist websites to inform them about their services.
