GKI: wage increase prospects for the next year
The low level of wages in Hungary is becoming a more acute problem. While the employees feel the severity of the problem for a long, the employers are beginning to feel it now.
On the one hand the lack of adequately trained workforce can be felt increasingly, especially among the industrial companies and service companies producing for export. On the other hand, the low level of wages cause that employers do not choose certain professions. Scholarships also cannot change this in the case of skills shortages. Hungary entered the stage where no longer can offer cheap and skilled labor force.
